Last year, we wrote an article about the GM Global Propulsion Systems Performance and Racing Center. We spoke with Director, Performance Parts Variants & Motorsports, Russ O’Blenes, about what exactly goes on behind the scenes at the center and what they work on. As it turns out, our friends over at Mobil 1 The Grid did the same thing and put together a great video about how GM supports its racing efforts all over the globe, all from this new center.
The video highlights how GM supports racing efforts in all sorts of motorsport disciplines from NASCAR, sportscar, INDYCAR and drag racing. Needless to say, some of our favorite racing engines are being developed behind the walls of the GM Global Propulsion Systems Performance and Racing Center.
While we haven’t been to the center in person, we would love to go check it out. After all, the lobby is decorated as a celebration to GM’s motorsports legacy and we would love to see it. But, until we do, this video by Mobil 1 The Grid helps give an exclusive look inside GM, a motorsports icon.
