What To Expect from Chevy at SEMA 2012

Yesterday we kicked off our SEMA "Hype Week" with a bit about the history of SEMA and what makes it so special for enthusiasts. And, though the show itself remains an industry-only affair, the madness that's on tap in Las Vegas is just too good to keep to the "insiders." Which, of course, is where The BLOCK comes in. And, well, we just wouldn't be doing our jobs if we didn't whet your appetite for what's to come.

While there's some stuff we're simply not allowed to give away (just yet!), what we can tell you is that each day, The BLOCK will be posting multiple times, live from the show floor, beginning each morning with a photo flood that will feature the best content from the Chevrolet booth (SEMA Booth #23743) and beyond!

As always, you can expect to hear many of the exciting things Chevrolet has on tap for the upcoming year, as told by Jim Campbell, U.S. Vice President of Performance Vehicles and Motorsports, as well as Chris Perry, Vice President Chevrolet Marketing, just to name a couple.

Motor Trend and Hot Rod Live Radio will be on hand to broadcast live and share their expertise. Chevrolet Performance will be unveiling some amazing new parts and components, many of which can be seen on display in Chevrolet "Garage Bay Live" on the showroom floor!

And, if that wasn't enough, attendees will get to participate in a wide array of Ride & Drive events, to get a firsthand feel for many of the Chevrolet vehicles that will be on display!

Oh, and, did we tell you that Danica Patrick, Kevin Harvick, Ty Dillion, Ron Fellows, Juan Pablo Montoya, Jeff Leetsma, Dave Connolly, Victor Cagnazzi and Erica Enders will also be appearing live in the Chevrolet booth? And, if that wasn’t enough, there's going to be a virtual armada of insanely cool Chevrolet builds, like you've never seen them before, including the Chevrolet Camaro, Avalanche, Spark, Sonic, Cruze, Malibu, 2014 Impala, and many more!

Don't forget to keep up with all the SEMA "Hype Week" news in our SEMA Forum!

Is there anyway that you can get an interview with Dave Connelly and find out what races he plans to run the COPO at next year? I thought he said that they might go after the Stock Championship.
